OneLife: a multilingual store with public distributor verification
The real problem
A direct-selling company needing more than a store: in this industry people falsely claim to be authorised distributors, so any customer needed a way to verify a distributor's membership before buying, alongside a multilingual store and member accounts.
What we delivered
- A multilingual site combining the store and the corporate content
- Member accounts with roles separated from visitors and distributors
- Public verification of a distributor's membership before dealing with them
Engineering notes
- Multilingual architecture from the database up to the interface, not just translated templates
- Role separation: visitor, member, distributor; each role sees and can do only what it should
- A simple public verification path: entering a distributor's details returns their membership status from the company record
The site runs on infrastructure we manage, with backups and monitoring.
Customers can verify any distributor's membership before buying, and the company runs its store and members from one multilingual system.
What we publish here is limited to what can be verified. No performance, user or revenue figures unless they are externally provable.
