Web Development Company in Egypt: Corporate Sites, E-commerce and Laravel Platforms Built in Cairo

For business owners in Egypt and abroad who want a website or web application with a written scope, published prices and source code that ends up in their own hands.

Most website quotes in Egypt fail in the same two places: the scope is a one-page email, and the code stays with the agency. Web Pioneer is a software engineering company in Cairo, founded in 2014. We build corporate sites, e-commerce stores and custom Laravel web applications against a requirements document you approve first, with a staging link from week two and a contract that hands you the code, the database and the server access. Prices are published below in EGP and USD, and the case studies and portfolio show the work behind them.

A Written Scope Before Code

Every page, form, integration and report is listed with acceptance criteria and a fixed price. You approve the document, then we build to it. Changes are priced in writing, not absorbed into surprises.

Staging Link From Week Two

You log into a test server as the site grows and comment on real screens, not slides. A short review call every week keeps the build on your priorities.

Code and Server Are Yours

Source code, Git repository, database and hosting credentials pass to you on settlement of the final invoice. The agreement says so in plain terms, with no licence fee attached.

Published Prices

The ranges on this page are the ones we quote from, in EGP and USD. Payments are split across milestones, and each one is released against something you can test.

What We Build

  • Corporate websites: Arabic and English sites with an admin panel you update yourself, built for search from the first commit: clean URLs, schema markup, XML sitemaps and page speed measured before launch.
  • E-commerce stores: catalogue, cart, Paymob, Fawry or Kashier payments, shipping rules and order management, on WooCommerce or a custom Laravel build depending on catalogue size and the integrations you need.
  • Laravel web applications: booking systems, customer portals, internal management tools and marketplaces, with role-based access, reporting and an audit trail.
  • Portals and dashboards: client, supplier or member portals built over your existing data that replace the spreadsheet-and-WhatsApp loop.
  • APIs and integrations: REST APIs for your mobile app, payment gateways, the Egyptian Tax Authority e-invoicing portal, shipping carriers and ERP systems such as ERPNext.

Each of these has its own page with scope detail: website design, e-commerce development and web application development. When a brochure site with a small editing team is better served by WordPress than by a custom build, the estimate says so.

The Stack and Why We Chose It

LayerWhat we useWhy
Application frameworkLaravel (PHP)Long-term support releases, a large hiring pool in Egypt, and a codebase another team can take over without a rewrite.
Front endVue.js with BladeInteractive screens where they are needed, server-rendered pages where they are not, so the site stays fast and indexable.
DatabaseMySQLPredictable, well understood, simple to back up, restore and migrate to another host.
EdgeCloudflareDNS, CDN, edge caching and a web application firewall at low cost, with bot filtering we tune per site.
ServersManaged Linux hostingLinux servers we operate and monitor, or your own cloud account if you prefer; either way the access is documented and handed over.

We choose for the client's ten-year cost, not for novelty. A Laravel and MySQL site can be maintained by thousands of engineers in Egypt, which protects you from depending on us. How we cache Laravel pages at the Cloudflare edge is written up in a practical guide by the engineer who runs it.

Why Engineering From Egypt Works for Clients Abroad

Since 2014 we have delivered for clients in Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Sweden, Germany, France and Australia as well as Egypt. Four things make it work in practice:

  • Time zone: Cairo sits within one to two hours of Riyadh, Dubai, Berlin, Paris and Stockholm, so a review call fits inside your working day, and Australian clients get a full morning overlap. Nothing waits for an overnight handover note.
  • Language: requirements, tickets, commit messages and documentation are written in English, or in Arabic when the client prefers it. You speak to the engineer doing the work, not to an account manager relaying it.
  • Rates: the published ranges below cover the same scope a Western European or Gulf agency would quote at several times the price, with a registered company and a contract behind them rather than a single freelancer.
  • Contracts and payment: a written scope, milestone payments by bank transfer or card, invoices from a registered Egyptian company (commercial register 206687), and a confidentiality agreement signed before you share data.

Evidence You Can Check Before You Call

  • 150+ projects delivered since 2014 (our own count), 19 of them public with live links on the portfolio and five written up as case studies with the numbers behind each one.
  • Google rating 4.9 out of 5 from 138 named reviews, readable in full on the testimonials page.
  • Registered in Cairo: commercial register 206687, ITIDA licence 1167, one office in Nasr City. Every identity fact and the live numbers are on the company facts page.
  • Engineering writing by the people who do the work, from Laravel edge caching to self-hosted operations, on the blog.

Security Practice on Every Build

Every site we ship goes behind Cloudflare with a firewall rule set we maintain across our client fleet, HTTPS by default, rate limiting on login and form endpoints, dependency updates scheduled in the maintenance plan, and a backup routine agreed in the scope. Server access is separated per client and handed over at the end. We also state in writing where the limits of the service are, because no vendor can promise a site is immune. The full practice, with its scope limits, is on the trust page.

What Every Website Build Includes

Design System and Responsive Layout

Layouts approved before build, then checked on real phones and tablets before sign-off, not only in a browser emulator.

Admin Panel

Pages, products, blog posts, menus and forms editable by your team without a developer, with roles so the intern cannot delete the homepage.

Arabic and English Done Properly

Right-to-left layout, per-language meta tags, hreflang and separate sitemaps, so each language ranks on its own.

Search Foundations

Clean URLs, schema markup, redirects mapped from the old site, and Google Search Console connected on launch day.

Performance

Cloudflare caching, WebP images and Core Web Vitals measured on staging before go-live, with the numbers in the handover document.

Forms and Integrations

WhatsApp click-to-chat, email delivery that lands in the inbox, Google Analytics 4, and Paymob, Fawry or CRM webhooks when the scope calls for them.

Published Prices in EGP and USD

How the project runs

  1. First conversation: you tell us what the site must achieve, who it is for and where the current one fails; we ask about content, languages, integrations and who will update it after launch.
  2. Requirements document: every page, form, integration and report written down with acceptance criteria and a fixed price. You approve it before any code exists.
  3. Build with weekly reviews: a staging link from week two, a short review call every week and a task board you can open at any time. Changes outside the document are priced in writing before we do them.
  4. User acceptance testing: your team tests real workflows on staging against the acceptance criteria, using your own content and products. What fails is fixed before go-live, not after.
  5. Launch and handover: DNS switch on a day you choose, Search Console and analytics connected, then code, Git repository, database and server access handed over once the final invoice clears, with a defect warranty period written into the agreement.

Frequently asked questions

How much does a website cost in Egypt?

A corporate site runs 25,000 to 50,000 EGP, a larger catalogue site or an e-commerce store 50,000 to 110,000 EGP, and a custom Laravel platform starts at 165,000 EGP (about $450, $900, $2,000 and $3,000 at 55 EGP per USD). The price moves inside each range with the number of pages, languages, integrations and reports. Our website cost guide breaks every range down line by line.

Do you work with clients outside Egypt?

Most of our work outside Egypt is for Saudi Arabia and the UAE, and we have delivered for clients in Sweden, Germany, France and Australia. Everything runs remotely: written scope, staging link, weekly calls in your working hours and milestone payments by bank transfer or card. Nearly all of that work has been done without a single site visit.

Who owns the code?

You do, once the final invoice is settled. The agreement names the source code, the Git repository, the database and the designs as your property, and we hand over the hosting and domain credentials with them. There is no licence fee and no mandatory maintenance contract attached to ownership.

How long does a corporate site take?

Typically 2 to 4 weeks from approved requirements for a 5 to 15 page bilingual site, and 4 to 8 weeks for a larger catalogue site or a store. The two things that stretch a timeline are late content and slow sign-off on the design, so both get dates in the requirements document. You see a staging link from week two either way.

Do you provide hosting and maintenance?

Both are optional and quoted separately, so you can decline them without affecting ownership. Managed Linux hosting behind Cloudflare runs 3,000 to 7,500 EGP per year, and a maintenance contract covering updates, security patches and small changes runs 5,000 to 10,000 EGP per month. If you host elsewhere, we deploy there and document the setup.

What do you need from us to quote?

A one-page brief is enough to start: what the site must do, who uses it, the languages, two or three sites you like, and any integrations such as payments, ERP or a mobile app. If you have a current site, send its URL. We return a written estimate within one business day, and the technical estimate form on this site walks you through the questions.

Send Us the Brief You Have

A few lines on WhatsApp are enough. We reply with a straight opinion on scope, a written estimate within one business day, and a confidentiality agreement before you share anything sensitive.
