If your load is spiky or unpredictable, a cloud instance is usually the better economic choice. A dedicated server wins when load is sustained and high, or when isolation is a hard requirement rather than a preference.

Frequently Asked Questions
When do I actually need a dedicated server instead of cloud hosting?
When your load is sustained and high rather than spiky, when a single database is the bottleneck and needs every core it can get, when you process video or large media, or when a contract or regulator requires that your data does not share physical hardware. For most web applications, a cloud instance is the better and cheaper answer — we will say so if that is the case.
Is a dedicated server more secure than shared hosting?
It removes one entire class of risk: you are no longer exposed to another tenant on the same machine being compromised. But a dedicated server is only as secure as its configuration. An unhardened dedicated box is more dangerous than well-managed shared hosting, which is why we never hand one over without a documented security baseline.
Do you offer managed and unmanaged options?
Both. Unmanaged means we specify, provision and harden the server, then hand you full credentials and documentation — you operate it from there. Managed means we keep operating it: patching, monitoring, backups, incident response and a monthly report.
Can I choose the country the server is located in?
Yes. We source from providers with locations across Europe, North America and the Gulf. If your clients or regulator require data to stay in a specific jurisdiction, tell us during scoping and we will restrict sourcing to matching regions.
What happens if the hardware fails?
This is the real trade-off of a single machine, and we are direct about it: hardware fails, and recovery means restoring to replacement hardware. That is why encrypted off-site backups and a tested restore procedure are mandatory on every dedicated server we manage. If your business cannot tolerate that recovery window, you need redundancy across two machines, and we will design for that instead.
Can you migrate my existing site or application onto it?
Yes, and that migration is part of the engagement rather than an extra. We rehearse the migration on the new server first, sync the final data delta, then switch over during a low-traffic window with the old environment kept live for rollback.
Do I get cPanel or WHM?
If you want it, yes — cPanel/WHM or Plesk can be licensed and installed. Many teams running a single application prefer a clean build without a control panel, which is lighter and reduces the attack surface. We will recommend based on who is going to operate the server day to day.
