MP Ahmed Belal office: constituent requests, from paper to a system
The real problem
A member of parliament's office receiving constituent requests by phone and on paper, with no way to know which request went to which government body and what happened next. A lost request here is not a support ticket; it is a citizen waiting.
What we delivered
- Online request submission through a simple Arabic form designed for non-technical citizens
- Request categorisation and selection of the relevant government body at submission time
- A follow-up workflow for the office team: every request has a status and an owner
Engineering notes
- A structured request lifecycle: submitted, in follow-up, closed; no request exists without a state
- A government-body taxonomy so requests land in the right follow-up track from day one
- An Arabic-first interface with the minimum possible fields; every extra field means fewer citizens finish the form
The system runs on hosting we manage, with backups and monitoring.
The office now receives and follows requests digitally instead of on paper, and citizens submit online, selecting the relevant government body themselves.
What we publish here is limited to what can be verified. No performance, user or revenue figures unless they are externally provable.
