Startup MVP or an app for an existing business
Startups usually come to us with an idea that needs an MVP to test the market, and established businesses want an app connected to what they already run. Both cases are described below.
MVP to launch an idea
One core idea with the fewest screens needed to test the market in 6 to 10 weeks. The first release includes sign-up, the main function, notifications and a basic admin panel. Version two adds multiple payment methods, advanced reporting and the integrations the first test does not need. Many clients start here and upgrade to the commercial tier on the same codebase.
An app connected to your website, ERP or internal system
If you already run a website, an ERP, a CRM or an internal system with real customers, Web Pioneer connects the new Android and iOS app to your live data through a documented Laravel API, without duplicating that data. Existing customer accounts, inventory, roles per department and management reports stay in sync. Most projects of this kind include a customer app on both stores, a Laravel backend and a web admin panel, delivered by one team under one contract.
What we build
We design and build iOS and Android apps for stores, delivery, bookings, real estate, clinics and e-learning, each one with its own backend and admin panel, and published to both stores under accounts opened in your name. The published prices above apply across all of these, from an MVP at $3,000 to a multi-app platform from $8,000. The difference between them comes down to screens and integrations.
Laundry, chat, maintenance request, social and classifieds apps have their own pages too. See the industries we build software for.
React Native, Flutter or native: how our Egypt team chooses your stack
React Native is our first choice for most commercial apps. One JavaScript or TypeScript codebase ships to Google Play and the App Store, there is one codebase to maintain, your web developers can read and maintain it after handover, and if your site has a React front end the shared logic is reused. The same Laravel backend and admin panel serve both platforms.
Flutter app development is our second option, for apps that need a pixel-identical interface on both platforms or animation-heavy screens, or when your team already works in Dart. We move to Swift and Kotlin only when the app needs heavy graphics or deep access to the phone's operating system.
| Stack | When we choose it | What you get |
|---|---|---|
| React Native | Our first choice for most commercial apps: stores, delivery, bookings, services | One JavaScript codebase for both platforms that your web developers can read, lower build and maintenance cost |
| Flutter | When the app needs a pixel-identical interface on both platforms or animation-heavy screens, or your team works in Dart | One codebase with a completely consistent interface |
| Swift and Kotlin | When the app depends on heavy graphics or deep integration with the phone's OS | The highest available performance and full OS access, at the cost of two codebases and two teams |
One codebase covers both platforms unless the app is a game or relies on heavy on-device image and video processing. We settle it in the requirements session after we review the screens. More in React Native vs Flutter and the technologies we work with.
How a project runs: six stages, each with a deliverable
This table is what actually goes into the contract. Six stages, each with a rough duration, what you receive at the end of it, and what we need from you so the work does not stall.
| Stage | Typical duration | Deliverable | What we need from you | Done when |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1. Requirements session | 3 to 5 days | Requirements document and a fixed quote within one business day | The idea, who uses it, what content you already have | You sign the quote and contract |
| 2. UX and UI design | 1 to 2 weeks | A clickable prototype of every screen | Brand assets and your notes on the prototype | You approve the final prototype |
| 3. Build | 3 to 5 weeks for an MVP, longer for higher tiers | Test builds you install on your phone | Payment and third-party service accounts | Every approved screen is complete |
| 4. Testing on real devices | 1 week | A QA report and the fixes it lists | Your team tries the build | No critical defects open |
| 5. Store publishing | Up to 1 week (store review) | The app live from accounts in your name | Google Play and App Store accounts opened | Both stores accept the release |
| 6. After launch | Ongoing | Crash monitoring, fixes and compatibility updates under an optional maintenance agreement | User feedback | The agreement runs, or you have taken everything over |
UI/UX design for the app
Every tier includes UI/UX design in stage two. We produce a clickable prototype of every screen, you try it on your phone and approve it in writing before any code is written. If you already have designs from another designer we build on them, which lowers the price.
Stages overlap at times (design wraps up while the build has started), which is how the total lands at 6 to 10 weeks for an MVP and 12 to 16 for a commercial app. Delays usually come from inputs we are still waiting on, such as product photos, a payment account under review or a store account waiting on a document. So we chase those in week one. Read how we work and the engagement models.
Ownership and security: what becomes yours on delivery
- The full source code in a repository in your name
- Google Play, App Store and domain accounts in your name
- A web admin panel with roles and reports
- Deployment, operations and architecture documentation
- A written contract fixing scope, price and timeline
- An NDA on request, before you share any detail
Production access, backups and security practice are described in our Trust Center. Every app needs a privacy policy: app privacy policy template.
