Laravel Development Company in Egypt: Build, Take Over or Scale Your Application
Custom web applications, APIs and business platforms on Laravel, Vue.js and MySQL, from a Cairo engineering team that runs its own site and most of its custom systems on the same stack.
Laravel is our default framework for custom software because it lets a small team ship a well-structured application fast and keep it maintainable for years. Web Pioneer has built custom systems since 2014 and runs its own site and most of its client platforms on Laravel with Vue.js and MySQL, behind Cloudflare, with queues, monitoring and staging as standard rather than extras. Whether you need a new platform, an API behind a mobile app, or someone to take over a Laravel codebase its original developers left behind, the engagement starts the same way: a scoping call and a written estimate within one business day.
Built on a Current Stack
Laravel 11 and 12, Vue.js, MySQL and Redis. No legacy versions on new projects, and a written upgrade path when we take over an older one.
Engineered for Operations
Queues on Horizon, staging before production, automated tests and CI, error tracking and uptime monitoring. We operate what we build, so we build it to be operated.
Rescue and Takeover
An existing Laravel application with no active developer? We audit, document, upgrade and fix security issues, then either hand it back or keep running it for you.
Your Code, Your Repository
Source code lives in a repository you own from day one. Credentials, documentation and deployment scripts transfer on the final payment, stated in the agreement.
What We Build With Laravel
- Custom web applications: portals, booking and scheduling systems, subscription platforms, dashboards and internal tools with multi-role access and audit trails.
- APIs for mobile apps: versioned REST APIs with authentication, rate limiting and documentation, serving React Native, Flutter or native apps built by us or by your own team.
- E-commerce and marketplaces: single-vendor stores and multi-vendor marketplaces with Paymob, Fawry, Kashier, Stripe or PayPal, courier integration and order workflows that match how you actually fulfil.
- ERP-adjacent systems: inventory, invoicing, HR and CRM modules that sit beside ERPNext or Odoo and exchange data through APIs instead of replacing a system that already works.
- Customer and partner portals: self-service portals for customers, distributors or members, with document exchange, approvals and notifications over email and WhatsApp.
Most projects start from our web application development service and move to a Laravel-specific scope once the requirements are clear.
How Our Laravel Practice Works
The stack is deliberately boring, because boring is what still runs in five years:
- Framework and language: Laravel 11 or 12 on a supported PHP version, with upgrades planned into maintenance instead of postponed until something breaks.
- Front end: Vue.js for interactive screens, Blade for content pages, Tailwind or Bootstrap depending on your design system.
- Data and jobs: MySQL with reviewed migrations and indexes, Redis for cache and sessions, and queued jobs supervised by Horizon so emails, exports and integrations never block a request.
- Edge caching: full-page caching of public pages at the Cloudflare edge with targeted purges, a setup we documented in our Laravel edge caching guide after running it on our own site.
- Quality: automated tests on the paths that carry money or data, static analysis, and a CI pipeline that runs them on every push.
- Environments: a staging server that mirrors production, where you test each release before it goes live.
- Operations: error tracking, uptime and resource monitoring, scheduled database backups and a documented deployment procedure, so a 500 error at 2am is caught and traced instead of being discovered by a customer.
Engagement Models
- Fixed scope: a requirements document with acceptance criteria, a fixed price and a timeline, paid in milestones released against working software. Suits a defined product or a first version.
- Dedicated Laravel engineer by the month: an engineer from our team working on your backlog, in your repository and your tools, with weekly reporting. Suits a product that keeps evolving or an in-house team that needs senior Laravel capacity.
- Rescue and takeover: for Laravel applications whose original developers are gone or unresponsive. We start with a paid audit of code, dependencies, security and infrastructure, deliver a written report with a prioritised plan, then upgrade, fix and stabilise. This is a common starting point for us.
Dedicated engineers and takeovers are quoted after a short call, since the scope depends on your codebase and backlog. Request a technical estimate and we reply within one business day.
Laravel Development Pricing in USD (2026)
The same ranges published on our pricing pages, converted at about 55 EGP to the dollar. The written estimate after scoping is the number that counts:
| Scope | Price range | Typical timeline |
|---|---|---|
| Custom Laravel platform with one core workflow (portal, booking, catalogue with accounts) | from $3,000 (165,000 EGP) | typically 8-12 weeks |
| Medium platform: several modules, roles, mobile API, payment integration | $4,500 – 8,000 | typically 12-20 weeks |
| Large integrated system: multi-tenant, ERP integration, heavy reporting, high traffic | from $8,000 | 20+ weeks |
| Dedicated Laravel engineer by the month | written quote within one business day | monthly |
| Rescue and takeover: audit, upgrade, security fixes | written quote within one business day | audit first, then a scoped plan |
Payments are split across milestones and each one is released against software you can test on staging. The estimate states taxes, assumptions, exclusions and exactly what becomes yours on delivery.

How the project runs
- Scoping call: you describe the product or the problem, we ask about users, integrations, traffic and what already exists, and tell you whether Laravel is the right fit.
- Requirements and estimate: a requirements document with acceptance criteria, architecture notes, a fixed price or monthly rate, and the exclusions, approved before any code is written.
- Sprint builds on staging: two-week sprints, each ending with a release on a staging server you log into, so feedback arrives while changes are still cheap.
- Testing and hardening: automated tests on critical paths, a security review, performance checks under realistic load, and data migration rehearsals when replacing an older system.
- Launch, handover and operations: go-live with monitoring and backups in place, repository and credentials in your name, documentation, and an optional maintenance agreement if you want us to keep running it.
Frequently asked questions
Laravel or WordPress for our project?
WordPress when the site is mostly content or a standard store your team edits itself, which usually costs under $2,000 and launches in weeks. Laravel when the application is the business: your own workflows, roles, integrations, an API for a mobile app or a product you will develop for years. We offer both and recommend the cheaper option whenever it genuinely covers the need.
Can you take over our existing Laravel application?
That is a common starting point for us. We begin with a paid audit: code quality, Laravel and PHP versions, dependencies with known vulnerabilities, server configuration and backups. You receive a written report with a prioritised plan and a price for each item, and you decide what to fix first. We sign an NDA before reading a line of your code.
Do you upgrade old Laravel versions?
We do, and it is usually the first item in a takeover plan. An application on Laravel 5, 6 or 8 is upgraded step by step to a supported release, with the test suite (or one we write for the critical paths) run at each stage and the result deployed to staging before production. The upgrade is scoped and priced separately so you can see exactly what it costs.
How do you hand over the project?
The repository is yours from day one, so handover is a process rather than a single event. On the final payment you also receive server and service credentials, deployment scripts, environment documentation, an architecture overview and a recorded walkthrough for your team or your next developer. Nothing stays locked to us.
Do you work alongside our in-house team?
Often. A dedicated Laravel engineer works in your repository, your task board and your chat, follows your code review process and reports weekly. For fixed-scope projects we agree on the interfaces with your team early so both sides can build in parallel.
How do you price Laravel work?
Fixed-scope projects are priced from a written requirements document and paid in milestones; the ranges on this page are the real starting points. Dedicated engineers are billed monthly. Takeovers start with a fixed-price audit, after which every fix is quoted individually. In all three cases you receive a written estimate within one business day of the scoping call.

Send us a short description of the application, or a link to the existing one, on WhatsApp. You get a straight opinion on scope and a written estimate within one business day, and we sign an NDA before you share code or data.
