Gaming App & Esports Platform Development
Mobile games, tournament platforms and gamified apps — with the backend, economy and live operations that decide whether players come back
Most gaming projects fail on the parts nobody demos: the backend that keeps the leaderboard honest, the in-app economy that resists exploitation, the matchmaking that pairs players fairly, and the live-operations tooling that lets you run an event without shipping an update. We build the game or platform and, more importantly, the systems around it that turn a first session into a returning player.
In short
- What we build: casual and mid-core mobile games, esports and tournament platforms, and gamified layers inside non-game apps.
- Server-authoritative by design — scores, currency and progression are validated on the server, because a client-trusted game is cheated within a week.
- Live operations tooling: run events, adjust drop rates, publish tournaments and push content without a store release.
- Monetisation modelled: in-app purchase, rewarded advertising, battle passes or entry fees, with the economy balanced before launch.
- We do not build real-money gambling or games of chance with cash payouts. Skill-based competition with prizes we scope carefully against the rules of your jurisdiction.
Tournaments & Leaderboards
Brackets, seasons, ranked ladders, daily and weekly leagues, with server-validated scoring and anti-cheat so the leaderboard means something.
A Backend That Holds
Player accounts, progression, inventory, matchmaking and real-time sessions on infrastructure sized for concurrency spikes rather than average load.
A Balanced Economy
Virtual currency, items, rewards and pricing modelled and stress-tested — including what happens when a player finds a way to farm it.
Live Ops Without a Release
Remote configuration, event scheduling, A/B testing and content pushes from an admin console, so you can respond to player behaviour in hours not weeks.
What Gets Built
| Module | Included capability |
|---|---|
| Game client | Unity or a native/cross-platform build depending on the game type, optimised for mid-range Android devices rather than only flagship phones. |
| Player accounts & progression | Guest and authenticated play, cross-device progress sync, levels, XP, achievements, unlocks and season progression. |
| Matchmaking & multiplayer | Skill-based matchmaking, lobbies, real-time or asynchronous multiplayer, reconnection handling, and graceful behaviour on unstable mobile networks. |
| Tournaments & esports | Bracket generation, scheduling, check-in, match reporting with dispute handling, prize distribution and spectator or stream integration. |
| In-app economy | Soft and hard currency, item catalogue, bundles, battle pass, daily rewards, and server-side validation of every transaction. |
| Monetisation | In-app purchase on both stores with receipt validation, rewarded video and interstitial advertising, subscriptions, and entry-fee handling where applicable. |
| Social & retention | Friends, clans or teams, chat, invitations, referral rewards, push notification campaigns, and win-back flows for lapsed players. |
| Anti-cheat & integrity | Server-authoritative scoring, anomaly detection on impossible results, device and account abuse detection, and moderation tooling with an audit trail. |
| Live ops & analytics | Remote config, event calendar, A/B testing, funnel and retention analytics, day-1/7/30 retention, ARPU and cohort revenue reporting. |
We are direct about scope: we build casual, puzzle, card, quiz, sports-management, arcade and competitive mobile titles, plus tournament and gamification platforms. We do not take on AAA console-scale productions, and we do not build real-money gambling.
What We Build in This Space

Esports & Tournaments
Competition platforms with brackets, ranked seasons, team management, match reporting and prize handling for organisers and communities.
Gamification Layers
Points, streaks, badges, levels and challenges added to a fitness, education, loyalty or commerce app to lift retention.
Branded & Advergames
Campaign games and interactive experiences for brands, with lead capture, prize mechanics and campaign analytics.
What You Receive
- Full source code ownership — the repository is transferred to you. No licence fee, no revenue share, no dependency on us to keep running.
- Customer app for iOS and Android — built from one codebase, published under your own developer accounts.
- Admin dashboard — the web control panel your team runs the business from, with role-based permissions.
- API and technical documentation — so any future developer can pick the system up without reverse-engineering it.
- App store submission — we prepare the listings, assets and privacy declarations and handle the review process through to approval.
- Post-launch support period — a defined window of bug fixing included after go-live, with an optional ongoing support retainer after that.
How We Build It
- Scoping workshop — we map your business model, revenue logic and operational rules before touching design. This is where most of the cost is decided.
- Specification and quote — a written feature list with acceptance criteria and a fixed price, so there is no ambiguity about what is included.
- UI/UX design — wireframes then full designs, in Arabic and English with correct RTL layout, approved by you before development starts.
- Development in sprints — two-week cycles with a working demo at the end of each, so you see progress rather than hear about it.
- QA and security testing — functional testing across real devices, load testing, and a security review before launch.
- Launch and handover — store publishing, production deployment, admin training, source code transfer and documentation.
Frequently Asked Questions
Do you build the game art and design as well as the code?
We handle UI/UX, interface art and integration. For heavy character art, animation and original soundtrack we work with specialist artists and bring them into the project. We are explicit at scoping about which parts we produce ourselves and which we source, so nobody discovers a gap halfway through.
How do you stop players cheating the leaderboard?
By never trusting the client. Scores, currency and progression are validated server-side, results that are physically impossible are flagged automatically, and we detect device and account abuse patterns such as multi-accounting. A game that trusts the client is cheated within days of getting popular, and the leaderboard becomes worthless.
How would the game make money?
The realistic options are in-app purchase of currency or items, rewarded advertising, a battle pass or season subscription, and tournament entry fees. Which one fits depends on the genre and audience — rewarded advertising suits casual play, in-app purchase suits deeper progression. We model the economy during scoping rather than deciding after launch.
Will you build a betting or real-money gambling app?
No. We do not build games of chance with cash payouts, betting or casino products. Skill-based competition with prizes is possible but is heavily regulated and varies by country, so we scope it carefully and expect you to have legal advice for your jurisdiction before we start.
Can you build a tournament platform without building a game?
Yes, and it is a common request. An esports platform organises competitions around games that already exist — brackets, registration, check-in, match reporting, dispute resolution, ranking and prize distribution — with no game development involved at all.
What about performance on cheaper Android devices?
This matters more than it usually gets credited for, particularly in this region where mid-range Android dominates. We set target devices during scoping and test on real hardware at that tier, not only on flagships and simulators, because a game that stutters on the most common device in your market has no audience.
Can we update events and content without releasing a new version?
Yes, and it is essential. Remote configuration and a live-ops console let you schedule events, adjust rewards and rates, publish tournaments and push content without waiting on store review. Without it, every balance change costs you days.
