WordPress Website Design in Egypt: Fast, Protected and Fully Yours

A custom theme or a reviewed premium one, WooCommerce with Paymob, Fawry and Kashier, and monthly maintenance from the team that hosts and runs more than 20 WordPress sites on its own servers.

WordPress is the right tool for a company site, a content-heavy site or a mid-sized store: it launches in weeks and your own team can edit it without a developer. What usually goes wrong is everything after launch: a theme buried under thirty plugins, updates nobody runs, and a cheap host that ends in a hacked or crawling site. Web Pioneer builds WordPress the way we build any system: a reviewed theme, few and justified plugins, Cloudflare and Wordfence in front, scheduled backups, and the option to host and maintain it on our managed servers. When a project outgrows WordPress we say so before you pay, and point you to custom web application development on Laravel.

A Theme You Own

A custom theme built from your design, or a premium theme we pick after reviewing its code, update history and support. No nulled plugins, no code of unknown origin.

WooCommerce With Egyptian Payments

Paymob, Fawry and Kashier wired and tested with real transactions before launch, plus local couriers and tax settings. Stripe or PayPal when you sell abroad.

Speed You Can Measure

Server caching, WebP images and Cloudflare in front. You get a Core Web Vitals report before and after launch so you can compare the numbers yourself.

Protected and Maintained

Wordfence, CrowdSec and Cloudflare, regular updates and scheduled backups under a maintenance agreement, on the same servers where we run more than 20 WordPress sites.

When WordPress Is the Right Choice, and When It Is Not

We settle this on the first call, because the wrong answer costs twice: once to build and once to rebuild.

WordPress fits when:

  • You need a company site, a blog or service pages that your marketing team edits itself.
  • Your store sells a clear catalogue with a manageable daily order count, and WooCommerce with a local payment gateway covers the checkout.
  • The budget sits between roughly $450 and $2,000 and the deadline is weeks, not months.
  • You want independence from any one agency: WordPress is open source and any competent developer can continue the work.

WordPress does not fit when:

  • The heart of the project is your own business logic: complex subscriptions, multi-role accounts, approval chains, dynamic pricing or deep ERP integration.
  • You expect thousands of orders a day, or handle sensitive data that needs control over every line of code.
  • You are building a digital product you will keep developing for years, where off-the-shelf plugins turn from a shortcut into a constraint.

In those cases we recommend a custom Laravel web application and put the difference in cost, time and ownership in writing before you commit.

What a WordPress Project From Us Includes

Every WordPress project leaves with the same delivery list, whatever its size:

  • Custom or reviewed theme: designed from your brand and built as a light custom theme, or a commercial theme chosen after we read its code and update history, stripped of what you do not need.
  • WooCommerce store: products, variations, stock and coupons; Paymob, Fawry and Kashier, or Stripe and PayPal for export sales; Egyptian couriers and tax settings.
  • Arabic and English: correct RTL in every component, readable Arabic typography and hreflang links so Google indexes both versions properly.
  • Speed work: page and object caching, WebP conversion, lazy loading, script deferral and Cloudflare in front of the origin.
  • Security: hardened settings, Wordfence, correct file permissions, two-factor login for the dashboard and scheduled off-server backups.
  • Migration from your old host: files, database, email and domain moved without visible downtime, with 301 redirects for every old URL so your search rankings travel with you.
  • Documented handover: every credential in your name, a short admin guide and a training session for your team.

What Happens After Launch

Most of the hacked or slow WordPress sites we take over were not badly built. They were left alone. So we offer an optional maintenance and hosting agreement that covers:

  • Updates: core, theme and plugins, applied on a staging copy first, then on the live site, with a check of what changed.
  • Backups: scheduled file and database backups stored off the web server, with periodic restore tests.
  • Monitoring: uptime, response time and TLS certificate expiry watched automatically, with our team alerted on any outage.
  • Protection: Wordfence on the site, CrowdSec on the server and Cloudflare rules in front of the login page to stop password guessing before it reaches you.
  • Fixes: theme and plugin faults within the agreement's hours, and a short monthly report of what was done and what needs a decision from you.

Without a maintenance agreement the site is still entirely yours, and we hand over everything needed to move it to any other host.

Six WordPress Services, From Design to Operations

Theme and Design

Pages designed from your brand identity and built as a light custom theme, or a reviewed premium theme configured and trimmed. Block editor or Elementor, whichever your team will actually use, with clear conversion pages and forms that reach your inbox and WhatsApp.

WooCommerce Stores

Products, variations, stock and coupons; Paymob, Fawry and Kashier connected and tested with live transactions; Egyptian couriers; and Egyptian Tax Authority e-invoicing integration when your business requires it, quoted separately. Expandable to a mobile app later.

Speed and Core Web Vitals

Measured before and after with Google's tools: page caching, image compression and WebP, deferred scripts and Cloudflare in front of the origin. The target is a page that opens in under three seconds on an Egyptian mobile connection.

Security Hardening

Hardened WordPress settings, abandoned plugins removed, Wordfence with tuned rules, two-factor login, correct file permissions, and on our servers CrowdSec plus Cloudflare rules in front of the login page. After any incident we document what happened and how it was closed.

Migration From an Old Host

Files, database, email and domain moved to faster hosting without noticeable downtime, 301 redirects for every old URL and a Search Console check afterwards. Your search equity moves with you.

Monthly Maintenance

Updates applied on staging before production, scheduled off-server backups with restore tests, uptime monitoring and fault fixes within the agreement's hours. A short monthly report shows what was done and what needs a decision from you.

How the project runs

  1. Scoping call: we learn the site's goal, audience and existing content, and settle together whether WordPress is the right choice or you need a custom build.
  2. Written scope and price: a page and feature list, a fixed price, a timeline and the exclusions, all before any payment.
  3. Design, then build on staging: you approve the design first, then watch the site grow on a private link and test it yourself week by week.
  4. Content and testing: we load content in both languages, test checkout, forms and speed on mobile, and fix what we find before launch rather than after.
  5. Launch, training and handover: the site goes live on your domain behind Cloudflare with protection in place, your team is trained, and every credential is handed over in your name.

Frequently asked questions

WordPress or a custom build: how do we decide?

Pick WordPress for a company site, a blog or a mid-sized store your team edits itself, with a budget between roughly $450 and $2,000. Pick a custom Laravel build when the core of the project is your own business logic, deep integration with your systems or a digital product you will develop for years. We give our opinion on the first call, even when the answer is that WordPress is enough and will save you money.

Is WordPress secure?

The core is updated constantly and reviewed by thousands of people. Nearly every breach we have cleaned up came from an abandoned plugin, a nulled theme, a weak password or a host that never updated anything. So we keep plugins few, put Wordfence, Cloudflare and CrowdSec in front of the site and update regularly under a maintenance agreement. No site is immune, but an updated, monitored and backed-up site recovers in hours instead of being lost.

Do we own the site?

Fully. The domain is registered in your name, hosting is in your name or on our servers under a clear agreement, and every credential is handed to you at launch. WordPress is open source and any custom theme we build becomes yours on delivery, so you can move the site to another company at any time.

Our current site is hacked or slow. Can you fix it?

We take over hacked and slow WordPress sites regularly. The work starts with a scan that identifies the entry point and the modified files, then we clean from a known-good copy or by hand, close the hole, update everything and put protection and monitoring in place so it does not recur. If the site is in such a state that repair would cost more than a rebuild, we say so with numbers and you decide.

How long does a WordPress website take?

A corporate site usually takes three to five weeks and a store six to ten, assuming your content and images are ready. Late content and slow approvals delay projects more than anything technical, so the agreement sets a content delivery date and a review window for each stage.

Do you host the site, or do we bring our own hosting?

Either works. We host more than 20 WordPress sites on our managed servers with Cloudflare, CrowdSec and scheduled backups, for about $55 to 135 a year. If you prefer your current host we build there, and tell you plainly if it will slow the site down or expose it.
