Software solutions for education and training

A platform that holds up on exam day, fees collected on time, and parents who know what is happening without calling, for schools, nurseries and training centres.

An education platform is judged by one hour a year: the exam hour when every student logs in at once. Before that comes a full year of attendance, fees, homework and parents asking questions. We build schools and training centres one platform that brings together administration, learning, fee collection and communication, designed from the start for exam-day load. We have delivered 4+ projects in this sector out of 150+ since 2014; the school details are on the school management system page.

A platform that holds on exam day

We load-test with the real student count before the exam, not after, and separate the exam server from the rest of the platform so a video upload never stalls a running test.

Exams and marking without paper

Question banks, shuffled questions and options, a timer per paper, automatic marking of objective questions, and results issued the same minute.

Fees collected on time

Instalment schedules per student, payment through Fawry, Paymob and wallets, automatic reminders before the due date, and an e-invoice for every instalment.

Parents who know without calling

Attendance, grades and homework reach the parent on the app and WhatsApp, which takes the pressure of phone calls off administrators and teachers.

What we build for schools and training centres

Each solution below has its own page with scope and prices. A school usually starts with administration, fees and communication; a training centre with the learning platform and payments.

 • School management system: Students, classes, timetables, attendance, grades and fees in one system, with a parent app and a teacher app.
 • E-learning platform and app: Video courses, materials, assignments, tests and certificates, with payments and subscriptions, for centres and trainers.
 • Nursery app: A daily report to the parent with photos, meals and naps, check-in and check-out, and monthly fees.
 • Graduation projects: Technical supervision and implementation of graduation projects for computer science and engineering students, fully documented.
 • Helpdesk system: Parent and trainee enquiries from the website, WhatsApp and phone in one queue with response deadlines.
 • Admissions and enquiry chatbot: Answers registration, fee and schedule questions on WhatsApp, and hands special cases to a person.

What is different in this sector

A learning platform is not a video site with a subscription. These requirements shape the design:

 • Exams. A timer per paper that keeps running if the connection drops, shuffled questions, answers saved automatically, and a log of login attempts. We say plainly that cheating cannot be fully prevented remotely; we build what raises its cost and leaves evidence.
 • Content protection. Segmented video streaming with signed, expiring links and an on-screen watermark carrying the student's name. This makes leaking harder, not impossible, and we set out the limits before contract.
 • The academic year cycle. Rolling classes and students into the new year in one step, archiving results, and a registration peak in two weeks of the year that needs preparation in advance.
 • Fees and instalments. Different payment plans per student, sibling discounts, arrears with automatic reminders, and an e-invoice on the Egyptian Tax Authority platform for every instalment. The e-invoicing integration is priced with a written quote within one business day through the technical estimate.
 • Multiple roles. Student, teacher, parent, administration and accountant each see different screens of the same data, and one parent has more than one child in more than one stage.
 • Children's data. Most users are minors, so we collect the minimum needed about them, restrict photos and daily reports to the linked parent only, and document this in the requirements.

Our work in the sector

Our company facts page counts 4+ delivered projects in education and training. That is our own count, not an externally audited figure. The client who agreed to appear in the portfolio:

 • Neftron: a website for a training platform presenting its programmes and trainers and receiving registration requests.

We also supervise and implement graduation projects for computer science and engineering students, a standalone service with its own page. The case studies published so far come from other sectors; in the consultation we show screens from school systems and learning platforms with no real data in them.

How the project runs

 1. Free requirements session: we review student numbers and stages, how fees are collected today and what parents ask about most, and decide what gets built first.
 2. Written scope and fixed price: a requirements document, price, a timeline that respects the start of the academic year, and explicit exclusions, before any payment.
 3. Build in stages you can see: administration and fees first, then learning and exams, with a weekly review on a staging environment.
 4. Load test and acceptance: a simulation of every student logging in at once, and hands-on trials by teachers and parents before launch.
 5. Launch, training and support: student and class data migration, administrator and teacher training, a support period after go-live, then an optional maintenance contract.

Frequently asked questions

Can the platform handle every student logging in at exam time?

We design for it from the start: a separate exam server, answers saved every few seconds, and a load test before the date with the real student count times a safety margin. The requirements document states the number of concurrent students tested, and we scale the server up temporarily in exam weeks instead of paying for that capacity all year.

Do I need a custom platform, or is Moodle or a hosted platform enough?

A hosted platform is enough if you need to publish standard courses and tests to a limited number of trainees. A custom platform earns its cost when you need local payments and subscriptions, a mobile app, integration with the school system and fees, or a learning experience of your own. We recommend the option after understanding what you sell and to whom.

How do parents pay the fees?

Through Fawry, Paymob, mobile wallets and cards from the parent app or a payment link on WhatsApp, with cash payments recorded at the cashier as well. Every payment is applied to a specific instalment and issues an e-invoice, and the accountant sees arrears per stage in one report.

Can cheating in remote exams be prevented?

Not completely, and anyone who promises that is overstating it. What we build raises the cost of cheating and leaves evidence: shuffled questions, one question per screen, a timer that does not pause, and a log of attempts to leave the page. For high-stakes exams we recommend human proctoring or a supervised hall alongside the platform.

How much does a parent app or nursery app cost?

A simple app connected to an existing school system starts at EGP 165,000 and takes 8 to 12 weeks, covering attendance, grades, daily reports and payment. Adding video and in-app exams moves it into the medium tier from EGP 250,000. The factors are explained in our app cost guide.

Do I own the platform and the content after delivery?

Learning content and student data are yours from day one, and the source code and server accounts pass to you on settlement of the final invoice, stated explicitly in the contract. Web Pioneer is an Egyptian company, CR 206687, ITIDA licence 1167, and the details are in the Trust Center.
