Software solutions for healthcare providers

One patient record, appointments that do not go to waste, and health data visible only to the people entitled to see it, for a single clinic, a multi-specialty centre or a pharmacy.

A clinic loses twice in the same day: an appointment nobody showed up for and nobody filled, and a patient kept waiting because the paper file is at the other branch. We build healthcare providers one system that connects booking, the medical record, billing and insurance, with fine-grained permissions that protect patient data. We have delivered 6+ projects in this sector out of 150+ since 2014; the clinic details are on the clinic management system page.

Appointments that do not go to waste

Doctor schedules and waiting lists on one screen, automatic WhatsApp reminders before the visit, and a cancelled slot offered immediately to the first patient on the waiting list.

One patient record

History, prescriptions, lab results and imaging in one record a doctor opens at any branch, instead of a paper file travelling in a car.

Patient data confidentiality

Role-based permissions, an audit log of who opened which record and when, and encryption in transit and at rest, because a patient file is not a product table.

Billing and insurance without rejected claims

Service pricing per insurer and coverage share, claims issued with the required documents, and an e-invoice compliant with the Egyptian Tax Authority.

What we build for healthcare providers

Each solution below has its own page with scope and prices. A clinic usually starts with booking and the medical record; a pharmacy with the till and expiry-dated stock.

 • Clinic management system: Booking, medical record, billing and insurance for a single clinic or a multi-specialty, multi-branch centre.
 • Clinic booking app: An Android and iPhone app for patients: booking, reminders, results and online payment of consultation fees.
 • Pharmacy management system: Barcode checkout, expiry-dated stock with early alerts, shortage lists and supplier orders, and multiple branches.
 • Telemedicine app: Video calls and chat with the doctor, e-prescriptions and payment before the session.
 • Fitness and nutrition app: Training and nutrition plans with coach follow-up, for clinical nutrition and physiotherapy centres.
 • Gym and sports centre system: Memberships, attendance, classes and trainers, for physiotherapy centres and gyms.
 • Helpdesk system: Patient enquiries and complaints from the website, WhatsApp and phone in one queue with response deadlines.
 • Booking and enquiry chatbot: Answers recurring questions and books appointments on WhatsApp, and hands medical questions to reception staff.
 • Penetration testing: A security test of the system and app before go-live and on a schedule, with a findings report and remediation.

What is different in this sector

A medical system is not a booking system with a diagnosis field. These requirements shape the design from day one:

 • Patient data confidentiality. Health data is among the most sensitive categories, and Egypt's Personal Data Protection Law No. 151 of 2020 places obligations on anyone who collects and processes it, so we build permissions, audit logging and encryption into the foundation and recommend that you consult a lawyer on your regulatory obligations. We sign an NDA before receiving any data, as documented in the Trust Center.
 • Booking with medical logic. A first visit, a consultation and a follow-up have different durations, a doctor works two branches on two schedules, and the waiting list must fill cancellations automatically. About a third of the clinic problems we have reviewed were in the scheduling logic, not the interface.
 • A structured medical record. Coded diagnoses, prescriptions from a shared drug list, imaging and lab attachments, and visit templates per specialty, so the doctor searches the history instead of reading all of it.
 • Insurance and billing. The same service has a different price per insurer, coverage share and pre-approval, and a claim rejected for a missing document is a direct loss. We build the pricing and documents into the system, and the e-invoice issues from the cashier screen.
 • Telemedicine. Stable video on mobile networks, e-prescriptions, recorded patient consent and payment before the session. See what an app like Vezeeta costs for a component breakdown.
 • Hosting and backups. We choose the hosting location with you to suit your obligations, with encrypted backups and tested restores, because losing patient files is not like losing a web page.

Our work in the sector

Our company facts page counts 6+ delivered projects in healthcare and medical devices. That is our own count, not an externally audited figure. Most clinic systems we deliver are not published, because patient data and internal workflows are not for publication. The client who agreed to appear in the portfolio:

 • IST Health Center: a medical website for a health centre presenting its specialties and doctors and receiving booking requests.

The case studies published so far come from other sectors; one of them, on hardening an online payment path, uses methods that apply directly to consultation fee payments. In the consultation we show you screens from clinic systems with no real data in them.

How the project runs

 1. Free requirements session: we review the patient flow from booking to payment, your specialties, branches and insurers, and decide what gets built first.
 2. Written scope and fixed price: a requirements document, price, timeline, hosting location and data responsibilities, before any payment.
 3. Build in stages you can see: booking and the medical record first, then billing and insurance, with a weekly review on a staging environment holding dummy data only.
 4. Security test and acceptance: a check of permissions, encryption and the audit log, and hands-on trials by reception staff and doctors before launch.
 5. Launch, training and support: patient record migration from the old system, team training, a support period after go-live, then an optional maintenance contract.

Frequently asked questions

How do you protect patient data in the system?

In three layers: role-based permissions so reception staff never see a diagnosis, an audit log recording who opened which record and when, and encryption in transit and at rest with encrypted backups. We sign an NDA before receiving any data, and we hold no ISO or SOC 2 certification and do not claim one.

Can the system connect to insurers and laboratories?

Laboratories and imaging devices connect through APIs or exchange files, depending on what the lab offers. Insurers in Egypt vary in technical readiness, so we build claims with the required documents inside the system and connect electronically with those who support it. We confirm what is available per insurer in the requirements session, before pricing.

What is the difference between a clinic system on ERPNext and a custom one?

The system on an open-source ERP base ships in 4 to 6 weeks at a lower cost and suits a clinic or centre that needs standard booking, records and billing. A custom system suits a hospital or chain with its own workflows or complex device and insurer integrations. We recommend the option after understanding how you work, not before.

How much does a patient booking app cost?

A simple booking app connected to an existing clinic system starts at EGP 165,000 and takes 8 to 12 weeks. Adding video consultations and e-prescriptions moves it into the medium tier from EGP 250,000. The components are broken down in our Vezeeta-style app cost guide.

Does the system work across several branches?

The patient record is one across all branches, a doctor's schedule can be split over two branches, and pharmacy stock is separate per branch but visible centrally. Management sees occupancy and revenue reports per branch on one screen.

What happens to our data if we end the contract?

Your data is yours and exports in full in standard formats at any time, and the source code passes to you on settlement of the final invoice. Web Pioneer is an Egyptian company, CR 206687, ITIDA licence 1167, and ownership and exit terms are documented in the Trust Center.
