Software solutions for retail and e-commerce
Store, app, POS and inventory running on one database, for a single shop or a chain that sells online and over the counter.
In retail, margin disappears between three screens that never talk to each other: an online store with stale stock, a branch till selling an item the warehouse ran out of, and an Excel file reconciling both at month end. We build retailers one connected system: online store or app, point of sale, inventory and accounting, wired to local payment gateways and the tax authority's e-invoicing platform. We have delivered 14+ projects in this sector out of 150+ since 2014; the public ones are in the portfolio.
One stock figure for every channel
The online store, the till and the warehouse read the same quantity in real time, so you never sell what you do not have, and capital does not sit idle in one branch while another reorders it.
Payments that do not leak money
Paymob, Fawry and Kashier integrations verify the gateway response on the server before any order is confirmed. An order that only looks paid on screen is a double loss: goods gone, money never arrived.
E-invoice and e-receipt from the till
Every sale issues an electronic invoice or receipt compliant with the Egyptian Tax Authority platform from the same sales screen, with no second data entry at closing time.
Orders delivered, returns accounted for
Courier integration, order status pushed to the customer on WhatsApp, and returns that put the item back in stock and the money back with the customer, with a trail your accountant can read.
What we build for retail and e-commerce companies
Each solution below has its own page with scope and prices. We usually start with the part that is losing you the most, then add the rest on the same base.
- Online store design: A WooCommerce or Laravel store with payment, shipping, e-invoicing and an admin panel in Arabic and English.
- Store app: An Android and iPhone app for your store with offer notifications, cart and in-app payment, reading products and stock from the same store.
- Multi-vendor marketplace app: Independent sellers with their own dashboards, commissions and settlements, and one central platform admin.
- Point of sale system: Fast barcode checkout, shifts and permissions, e-receipts, and offline operation that syncs when the connection returns.
- Inventory system: Multiple warehouses and branches, reorder levels, periodic stock counts and documented inter-branch transfers.
- Coupons and loyalty app: Points, offers and discount codes tied to actual sales, not a separate campaign the cashier knows nothing about.
- Grocery and supermarket app: Ordering and delivery in time slots, substitutes when an item runs out, and order dispatch to drivers.
- ERP system: Purchasing, sales, inventory and accounting in one system, on ERPNext or fully custom depending on the size of the business.
- Accounting system: Automatic journal entries from every sale, purchase and return, with VAT reports ready for the accountant.
- WhatsApp chatbot: Answers product, price and order-status questions automatically on WhatsApp and the website, and hands complex cases to a person.
What is different in this sector
A clothing store is not a corporate site with products on it. These are the points that separate a store that sells from a store that merely displays:
- Cash on delivery is still the majority. In Egypt most orders are paid on delivery, so the system needs rejected-order handling, returns and courier settlements, not only a payment gateway. The local gateways we integrate are listed on the payment methods page.
- E-invoicing and e-receipts. Wholesale sales need an electronic invoice on the Egyptian Tax Authority platform; till sales need the e-receipt. We build the integration so documents issue from the sales screen directly, and price it with a written quote within one business day through the technical estimate.
- Inventory with variants. One product has sizes, colours, batches and expiry dates. A badly designed product table is the most common reason we have seen for rebuilding a store after a year.
- Peak seasons. White Friday and Ramadan multiply traffic within hours. We load-test before the season and serve cached pages at the edge instead of paying for a bigger server all year.
- Hosted platform or custom store? Salla, Zid and Shopify are the right answer for many merchants. We will tell you plainly if a hosted platform is enough for you, and the e-commerce cost guide shows where a custom store earns its price.
Our work in the sector
Our company facts page counts 14+ delivered projects in retail and e-commerce. That is our own count, not an externally audited figure. The clients who agreed to be published in the portfolio:
- Droubiz: an online store in Egypt with local payment gateways and an order and shipping admin panel.
- Joma Cake: a cake and dessert store in Jeddah with online ordering.
- Helm Ezz: an online store with a companion mobile app reading the same product catalogue.
- OneLife: a multilingual store for a direct-selling company, with member accounts and a distributor verification tool.
Two of our case studies come from this sector: hardening the online payment path at Droubiz so that the system confirms an order only after verifying the gateway response on the server, and the distributor membership check at OneLife that protects customers from people posing as authorised distributors. Outcomes in both are described qualitatively, because we do not publish our clients' sales figures.

Frequently asked questions
I already sell on Salla or Zid. Do I need a custom store?
Not necessarily. A hosted platform is enough if your catalogue is simple and you do not need to sync with branch inventory or apply custom pricing rules. A custom store earns its cost when you pay high commissions, need unified stock with the till, or run a multi-vendor marketplace. We tell you the right choice in the first session, even if that is keeping your current platform.
Does the system connect the till to the online store?
That is the main reason we build on one database. A sale at the till deducts from the same quantity the online shopper sees, and a transfer between branches shows up the same minute. If you have an existing POS we connect it through an API rather than replacing it, where its vendor allows that.
How do you handle e-invoicing and e-receipts?
We integrate with the Egyptian Tax Authority platform so the invoice or receipt issues from the sales screen directly, with items coded under GS1 or EGS. The cost depends on your current system and number of branches, so we set it in a written quote within one business day instead of a generic number.
Which payment gateways do you integrate?
Paymob, Fawry, Kashier, Geidea and Easykash in Egypt, MyFatoorah and Stripe for the Gulf and international customers, plus cash on delivery and mobile wallets. In every integration we verify the gateway response on the server before confirming the order, and card data never passes through our servers.
How long does it take to add a mobile app to the store?
A simple app that reads products, cart and payment from the existing store takes 8 to 12 weeks and starts at EGP 165,000. We recommend it once you have repeat customers who benefit from notifications and loyalty, not as a first step before the store has proven itself.
Do I own the code and the data after delivery?
Source code, database and server accounts pass to you in full on settlement of the final invoice, and the contract states this explicitly.
